Data bindings are used for the information presentation gained from web services. Concept called Windows Communication Foundation enables relatively easy application development gaining data from different resources through web services. Principals of communication with web services based on SOAP and REST architecture are described. An application for observing current stock exchanges information was developed on the base of previous studies. The application consists of server and client side. The server side obtains data from resources which are free available. These data are published through web services. Silverlight client gets data from web services and presents them to users. User settings are stored on server in database. ADO.NET Entity Framework and Domain Service are used for the access to the database.
